Sir John Rose
Senior Advisor

Sir John Rose was Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Group from 1996 to 2011, overseeing its transformation into one of the world’s leading engineering and technology companies.

John is currently a senior adviser to Rothschild & Co and Executive Chair of Aquavest Technologies. He also serves on the advisory boards of BW Group, Alloyed, Protium (green hydrogen), Arctic Research & Development, and the Global Nuclear Scaling Initiative.

John's experience in global business leadership, innovation, and clean technology brings strategic insight and rigour to Fola’s mission of driving nature-positive transformation.

Tim Bromfield
Senior Advisor

Tim Bromfield is Vice President for Africa at Conservation International, leading strategy to conserve 20 of the continent’s most iconic and ecologically important landscapes.

Tim previously held senior roles at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, including Managing Director for Africa and Executive Director for New Business and Impact, where he supported governments on inclusive growth, climate resilience, and institutional reform. He began his career at Accenture before co-founding Atlantic Rising, an award-winning climate education initiative backed by the Royal Geographical Society. Tim is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

Anne Chalmers
Senior Advisor

Anne Chalmers is a Senior Advisor with decades of expertise in risk management, including insurance, security, corporate governance and materials stewardship. Anne's work involved designing programs and due diligence work for recycling, responsible sourcing, supply chain deep dives and sustainability reporting within the global mining industry.

Anne’s leadership earned her notable accolades, including a CEO Award, the Donald M. Stuart Award and recognition as one of the Top Global 100 Inspirational Women in Mining. A founding member and Director of the Mining Security Working Group (MSWG), where she has helped shape a global approach to mining security matters.

Daniel O'Brien
Senior Advisor

Daniel O’Brien is a recognised sustainability leader with over 25 years of experience advising organisations, governments, and financial institutions on climate, biodiversity, and nature-related risks.

As PwC’s former global Nature Lead, Dan co-founded the Centre for Nature Positive Business. He also served as a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and has academic training in biology and quantitative ecology with professional designations including RPBio, PMP, and EMS (Lead Auditor). Daniel brings both technical expertise and governance experience to help Fola  drive long-term value creation for our clients.

We combine scientific rigour with practical insight to help organisations navigate their relationship with nature and embed it into decision-making. Our team is united by a shared belief: that restoring and protecting nature is not only urgent - but achievable. With backgrounds across consulting, conservation, and policy, we work hands-on with our clients to deliver tailored, actionable, and credible support.

Theo Bromfield
Co-founder & Director

Theo’s background is in nature and biodiversity conservation. He started his career in the charity sector working with a variety of NGOs whilst simultaneously completing his MA in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development. Theo then joined PwC’s Sustainability team to build its nature proposition and launch their global Centre for Nature Positive Business.

Oliver Robinson
Co-founder & Director

Ollie has a background as a sustainability consultant and is a Chartered Accountant by training. He holds an MSc in Carbon Management and, prior to building Fola, worked as a senior leader in Deloitte's sustainability consulting team. He brings experience of leading some of the world's largest companies through nature, sustainability reporting and decarbonisation challenges.

Laureen Missaire
Principal Consultant - Nature

Laureen brings seven years’ experience in corporate sustainability and nature strategy across organisations including Kering, Business for Nature, Accenture, and CDP. She has worked with leading frameworks such as SBTN, TNFD, and CSRD, and at Kering contributed to the group’s SBTN-validated freshwater target through basin-level action and regenerative sourcing initiatives.

Kudirat Olateju
Senior Consultant - Nature

Kudirat is an accomplished finance professional with nearly a decade of experience in global financial markets. She has an MBA and is a CFA Charterholder. Kudirat began her career at J.P. Morgan in London before transitioning to T. Rowe Price. During her time at T. Rowe Price, she led the development of a differentiated approach to sustainable investing, earning recognition for her work through a Black Women in Asset Management “40 under 40” award for ESG & Sustainability.

Edward Pollard
Expert Advisor

Edward is a renowned expert in the field of business and biodiversity with over 25-years' experience. He has led the development of corporate nature strategies for a wide range of large multinational companies from multiple sectors including food and beverage. Edward is a Director of the UK Business and Biodiversity Forum CIC, and on the board of Business for Biodiversity Ireland. He has published widely on topics ranging from Nature Positive, to Zero Deforestation and illegal logging and has spent nearly 15 years working on-the-ground on forest conservation initiatives in south-east Asia.

James Spurgeon
Expert Advisor

James is an internationally recognised expert in natural capital, with over 30 years consulting experience advising multinationals, financial institutions and governments on measuring, valuing and reporting on it.  He was a lead author of the Natural Capital Protocol and lead technical advisor for the Capitals Protocol.  Areas of core expertise include ecosystem service valuation, applying the TNFD LEAP process, impact valuations, natural capital assessments & accounting, and cost-benefit analysis, with considerable experience in relation to mining, energy and the blue economy.

Tassilo von Hirsch
Expert Advisor

Tassilo is a natural capital specialist with nine years’ experience focusing on land use and nature-related impacts and dependencies for large multinational corporations. At PwC, he managed the Land Use model supporting Kering’s Environmental Profit and Loss (EP&L) account. More recently, as Legal & General’s Natural Capital Lead, he developed investment strategies in regenerative agriculture and forestry, collaborating with technical experts. He also served as Deloitte’s deputy delegate to the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
